This structure (4) discovered on the site of David’s City, Jerusalem.  It discovery solved a Biblical puzzle  -  i.e. what is the “millo” that many Biblical kings rebuilt in Jerusalem (e.g. 1Kings 11:27).  It seems it was a “stepped stone structure” probably supporting a palace.  It was probably built here due to this being the most vulnerable part of the city.
