This is one of two seals found being the ”signature” of Baruch, secretary to Jeremiah. It reads, “Belonging to Berekyahu, son of Neriyahu, the scribe”.
Much of the Old Testament is self-confessed compilations and the style of many of the books suggest that Baruch may have been their inspired editor.
